Jonathan spingle sat at his desk at his office depressed. His success in society was not enough. It seemed not to matter anymore that he was the richest man in his city or that he owned a successful medium sized business. He never understood the capitlists when they say how being at the top of society and being successful will be a good thing. It just seemed so irrelevant, trivial, and unimportant. He felt that life was not worth liveing. He wished he could delve back in to the past and only live through his happier days repeatedly. When He had his love and his only treasure. his wife was everything, she meant everything to him. Romance was his life. He was a man of feelings and emotions. His favorite emotion being love. He had his love in his arms and the time seemed golden, but it seemed to escape very fast. And now, he had nothing. He had problems, dread, emptiness, sadness and a feeling to do nothing. He wished it was yesterday again. He wish today wasn't today and today could have been the past. Why can't humans capture a moment and live in it forever? It wasn't fair. It just wasn't write. He needed his love back. Even seeing her lying there motionless unable to move for days. maybe years if it was possible. When she had to go, she wouldn't say why. She didn't tell him why tragedy had to strike. Why the victim must be him, he didn't know. Perhaps, god was evil and cruel. Was there even a God? Surely, if there was a God, he the almighty one couldn't and wouldn't do this to him? Afterall, the Christians preached that God loved everyone and surely if God had loved him he wouldn't have taken Winter away from him. however, God or no God his Winter was still gone and he couldn't bare the present. Oh, how he longed for yesterday.
